JuriHub ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting the personal information of its users in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Loi 25) and applicable Canadian privacy legislation. This policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and protect your personal information.
Privacy Officer
Under Loi 25, the person with the highest authority in the organization is by default responsible for the protection of personal information. JuriHub has designated a Privacy Officer to handle all privacy-related matters.

Personal Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information in the course of providing our services:
- Identity information: full name, professional title, solicitor ID, lender ID
- Contact information: email address, phone number, professional address
- Financial information: bank account details (transit, institution, account number) for fund transfers related to mortgage mandates
- Property information: civic addresses, cadastral descriptions, and municipal addresses associated with mortgage mandates
- Usage information: login activity, audit logs, and actions performed within the platform
Purposes of Collection
- Managing mortgage mandates between solicitors and lenders
- Processing mortgage discharge requests
- Managing succession cases and generating legal documents
- Facilitating communication between solicitors and lenders
- Complying with legal and regulatory obligations applicable to notarial practice in Quebec
- Maintaining security and integrity of the platform through audit logging
Data Retention
Personal information is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, and in accordance with legal retention requirements applicable to notarial records in Quebec. Closed mandates and associated documents are retained for the minimum period required by the Chambre des notaires du Quebec and applicable legislation. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party service providers to operate our platform:
- Google Cloud Platform / Firebase — Cloud infrastructure, database, file storage, authentication, and serverless functions. Data is hosted in Google Cloud data centers.
- Stripe — Payment processing for mandate acceptance fees. Stripe processes payment information directly and JuriHub does not store credit card numbers.
Your Rights
Under Loi 25 and applicable privacy legislation, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right of access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Right of rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Right of deletion: request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Right of portability: receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used format
- Right to withdraw consent: withdraw your consent to data processing at any time

Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal information, you may file a complaint with our Privacy Officer at privacy@jurihub.ca. If the matter is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may also file a complaint with the Commission d'acces a l'information du Quebec (CAI).
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The updated policy will be posted on this page with the date of the latest revision. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
